A Little About Me

I started juggling in 2001, and I've been a variety performer since the fall of 2006, when I started juggling with my good friends in Minx Burlesque in Denton, Texas. In early 2008, my best friend Femme Vivre LaRouge and the amazingly creative Saint Luna Laguna started the Vixens of Vaudeville Revue, a burlesque and variety troupe with a focus on true vaudeville style including slapstick, classic and neo-burlesque, lots of comedy, and of course, juggling by yours truly! The Vixens' roster changed over the years, but I love all of the ladies (and gents!) who were a part of that time in my life. Since May of 2010, I've been pursuing more solo and duet performances and it's been a blast!
As far as my pursuits off stage, I earned Bachelor of Arts degrees from the University of North Texas in Newswriting/Editorial Journalism and Spanish in 2007. In the summer of 2009, I began working as a contributing writer for Pin Curl Magazine and I have articles and interviews published monthly online and biannually in the Best of Pin Curl print magazines. In the fall of 2010, I began doing more behind the scenes work for Pin Curl, as well as taking on a role as production assistant for Viva Dallas Burlesque and Hot Rods & Heels. In 2011, I became the Production Manager of Viva Dallas Burlesque, which expanded and added the Cirque du Burlesque series in 2012. In August of 2012 I also became the Managing Editor for Pin Curl Magazine, and I am so excited about the opportunity! I love the work I do, and as long as it continues to be as fun as it has been, I won't be stopping any time soon!
As for the future, I've got more tricks up my sleeves, so be sure to add me on Facebook to keep up with all my tomfoolery!
