Divertida Devotchka has been delighting Texas audiences
since 2006 with everything from an ether-huffing, grapefruit-juggling tribute
to Hunter S. Thompson to lapdancing on a 5-foot strip of bacon; she loves to
serve up her nerdery with a heavy metal attitude. She’s the production manager
of Viva Dallas Burlesque, the largest burlesque show in Texas, and her name may
be more than a mouthful, but there’s more than one reason why most folks just
call her “Double D!”
